morescarystoriesMy favorite story was Oh Susanah. So here’s the story. Two girls lived in an apartment. When they wnet to bed one of the girls was haering the other girl humming “Oh Susannah”. When it was morning and the other girl gook off the blanket, the girl she heard humming was gone. What I didn’t like about this book is that it was freaky. What I liked about this boo was that the pictures were cool.

Airball is about a boy who is horrible at basketball–but he loves it. So he gets into his 7th grade basketball team—and they wear underwear as a strategy because they haven’t won a game in so long. So the game of basketball leads the boy to chaos! I loved this book because it was so funny. If you need a good book tht has humor, read Airball.

Service, Patricia. STINKER FROM SPACE

One of the best books I have read is Stinker from Space. It is about a boy and a girl named Jonathan and Karen. Karen and Jonathan both meet a being named Stinker. Stinker met them because his space ship broke down and he doesn’t know how to fix it so he needs some help. Jonathan and Karen want to help but they don’t know how to explain it to their parents. Stinker wants to get away from Zarnk so he doesn’t get caught. I absolutely loved the book. My favorite part was when Karen said “Zarnk” and then laughed and said “False alarm.” You absolutely need to read this book. I learned that if you need help ask politely.

I read one of the best books! It is about a boy named Luke. He is a third child. This is a mystery book that takes place in the future. The government says you can only have two children. Luke meets a girl named Jen. She is a third child, too! She is trying to make all the third children be free.  I love this book because I love mystery books and I’m sure you’ll love this book, too.

If you’ve never heard of this book, well you should because it will chill your bones and you might creep your friends out but it’s cool. This book is about dead people and it’s about dead people who haunts homes. I really like this book because it’s really cool and some times it chills my bones but the one chapter that chills my bones the most is called, The Red Spot. This is why you should read this book and you better read it real soon or you’ll be sorry. I’m just kidding, or am I?

Spinelli, Jerry.STARGIRL

Filed under: Realistic Fiction, Reviews by 5th grader, School Stories on Sunday, October 17th, 2010 by | No Comments
“Stargirl” was all they could say, just out of nowhere she appeared. She was everywhere all at the same time. Stargirl wasn’t like any other person at Mica high she “basically kept the school alive” everybody thought. Everyday was a boring one at Mica high school, then came Stargirl. She knows everything about everyone even all of her classmates’ birthday and sings to them at lunch time. When she becomes a cheerleader that’s when everybody decides to hate her all because she cheers for the other opponents. It starts to get annoying when she always starts singing to people now.  Then Leo discovers he secretly likes Stargirl and Stargirl likes him back. When ever there in school they always hold each others hand and walk down the hall way together. Every since Leo started to ignore him and Stargirl everybody started to ignore both of them. When Leo thinks Stargirl is getting to weird he tells her to “change her unique ways”. She listens to him and becomes Susan. But when Leo has had enough, of Stargirl they break up right before the octorall ball!! That means Stargirl is going alone without Leo. At the ball Stargirl does a weird dance that everybody loves and joins in with her. So now everybody all the sudden likes her and thinks she is not so “weird” as they thought she would be! I thought this book was sometimes just kind of dragged on in some chapters, which I did not want to read. Over all this book was a great story and I would recommend this book to anybody but probably not boys. Hope you will enjoy this great book!
